Mama Snack.

Yep these are the words my little nurser said to me as he was playing. Right before he came over and pulled my shirt down to nurse.

 He loves his booby milk :)

We had a crazy start with Breast Feeding. Eli couldn't latch when he was born we tried over 2 hrs to try and get him too but he couldn't so I had to pump and put it into a bottle so DH could feed him. Not being able to feed my baby myself was so hard for me. I about caved and gave him formula ( Gasp I know) I am 100% probreast milk. After we came home he latched perfectly and I was one happy mama. 14 months later and we are still breastfeeding and alot. He loves to nurse and I love to nurse him.. I'm breastfeeding till Eli is ready to stop.. I even pump and freeze so that if I get sick or have to go somewhere he still has milk to drink. . The best thing I can tell other mama's who want to breast feed is don't ever give up no matter how hard it might seem it's so worth it in the end to have that special bond with your baby.

Deployment #2

So DH left for his 2nd deployment on the 21st and Our son came home with the tummy bug that got passed around to everyone else in our house. On top of that I'm super achy all over plus I have a bad cough and I can't breath with my nose.. I still have a achy heart from where I miss my DH. That should go away soon hopefully. I haven't got a email in 2days so that's hurting too.

Happy Feb 1

I know I haven't posted lately and I'm so sorry about that. I've been super busy with having my son and then my husband has been home on weekends.... Last weekend he was driving  and hit a huge something covered in ice and it ripped off 2/3 of the bumper and then smashed in his radiator and messed u everything to do with the AC.  So I've had to deal with trying to get that fixed.

 I really do hope to blog more and to blog more about the deals I get with coupons and new product I've gotten and will be trying. I'm also looking to do a make up swap with someone this summer so if you would like to swap with me just leave me a comment. :) I also have a line of review coming out very soon. I wanted to post some this weekend but I have to go to VA. I may do a post of things I saw up there. If there is anything you want me to review just leave  me a comment and let me know and I will do my best to get the post up. Also feel free to share my blog I know it's not the best but I would love to get it out there.

My big boy

My son turned 1 on Jan. 2 2013 and I just have to share how much of a big boy he has become over the past year. He went from being 5lb 9.8oz when he was born to being 17.1 now. He is still breast fed but he loves solid food as well. He favorite food right now is banana. He also loves to play around and play fight. He has his front two teeth but he has yet to bite anyone. He can over a hr in big boy underwear and potty training is going great. I love my little boy but he is growing up fast.

He is also walking now and standing up without holding onto things. Look at him standing tall and proud.

For his birthday party he had Elmo everywhere.
He looks like a clown with the frosting all over his mouth and nose.

Instead of gifts we asked people to bring food for our churches food pantry. Of curse he still got a couple of gifts.... I'm done with this post for now that big boy is ready for bed. Night everyone
