Rainbow Colored Flowers Experiment

Mom came up with this one.

I'll keep updating on how the flower look day to day.

Just in case no one has heard of this before I don't want to share what happen at the top of the post.

I did mine in rainbow but you can do this in one color or two. You can do that to match a wedding or party. I would start it about a week before tho so it has plenty of time to work.

What you will need.

Jars , vase , cups, ( I used all 3 )

food coloring ( I used about 10 drops of each color. I wanted it strong )

Water

White Flowers

What to do.

1.Fill the jars up with water.

2. Put in the food coloring..                

3 Cut off the flowers and make sure to slant them.

4. Put them into the jars and just leave them there till you get the color you want. 

I didn't use all of my flowers but the rest I am going to plant outside.

Day 3 you can see how the flower is starting to change colors.

"Flower" Hunt

It's been so nice outside lately that the boy and I have been spending a lot of time out there.
It was still pretty early when I took Eli ( 15 months) outside to find flower. I wanted him to find them and pick them himself and after I showed him what to get he got right too it. Well when we wasn't wanting to slide or ride his Elmo toy... We didn't get to spend a lot of time outside because I saw a black snake and ran Eli inside and woke mom up so she could kill it. I wouls have taken Eli back outside but the snake was right where we were and yeah I got kinda freaked.

I really like the little purple ones.

He has a things for the spiky balls. He is always giving them too me.

He loved doing this so as they grow back we will be getting more.

Look at what my wonderful man sent me

So I'm having dental problems right now and I have to get a root canal done eww so my Husband sent me flower to make me feel better since he can't be with me right now.
I just wanted to share with everyone and I guess kinda brag about how sweet he is.
I loved getting these and they made my day so much better and now every time I look at them I get to think of him. Does anyone else have a spouse that just does random things to either surprise you or to make you feel better?
